Admission Criteria for Selection

• Must be qualify JCECEB entrance exam.
• The form is released in the month of April every year.
• Admission Criteria: Written Examination & Interview.
• The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years
• The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
• The selected candidates must be prepared to obtained admission, immediately.
• The candidate should bring all the original certificate during interview

Admission Terms and Conditions

• Candidate with all stream who have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45%.
• Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government .

How to Apply

Students seeking admission can obtain application form and prospectus from the principal, Ursuline school of Nursing, Dumka by paying Rs.500/.

• Read the Prospectus carefully before filling the application form.
• Fill up the application forms in BLOCK LETTERS in your own handwriting
• Attested photocopies of:
  • 10th & 12th Mark Sheets
  • 10th & 12th Pass Certificates
  • Intermediate/10+2 Mark Sheet
  • Original/Provisional Certificate 10+2/Intermediate
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates

Rules & Regulations

• Every student is required to attend at least 90% of the classes.
• Every student is supposed to be punctual and disciplined in the premises.
• The student must submit the assignment on or before the date fixed by the teacher.
• No student will go on leave without prior permission from the principal. Available leave: - Annual Leave - 30 days, Sick Leave - 10 days per year.
• Late comers will not be allowed to attend the class without permission from the principal.
• It is compulsory that every selected student stay in the hostel, staying outside the hostel will be not allowed.
• Visiting day only on first Sunday of the month. Parents/Guardians whose name list submitted in the visiting register will be allowed.
• Students shall wear prescribed uniform while on duty or college premises.
• Jewellery and electronic items, mobile phones are strictly prohibited. Those found will be suspended or rusticated.
• No visitors will be allowed while the students are in the class or on duty.
• In case of illness, permission shall have to be granted from the principal to remain absent from class.
• Student trying to attempt or commit any kind of suicide, unnatural act, authorities of the School, Hostel & Hospital will not be responsible.
• After admission if any student wishes to discontinue during the duration of the course, she shall have to pay the entire fee of the whole course.
• Ragging is strictly prohibited. Those found will be suspended/rustication.
