Admission Criteria for Selection
- Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- Maximum age: 35 years.
- Interview will be held for successful candidates. Date will be communicated.
- Selected candidates must be prepared to join immediately.
- Original certificates must be brought during the interview.
Admission Terms and Conditions
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Science stream) with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and passed in English individually.
- Students from State Open Schools or NIOS (recognized by Govt.) with Science subjects and English are also eligible.
How to Apply
Application forms and prospectus can be obtained from:

- Pay Rs. 700/- in cash or send a D.D. of Rs. 700/- in favour of FLORENCE COLLEGE OF NURSING, payable at IRBA, Ranchi – 835217.
- Read the prospectus carefully before filling out the application form.
- Fill the form in BLOCK LETTERS in your own handwriting.
Documents to Enclose
- 4 recent passport size photographs
- Medical Fitness Certificate (from registered medical practitioner)
- Attested photocopies of:
- 10th & 12th Mark Sheets
- 10th & 12th Pass Certificates
- Intermediate/10+2 Mark Sheet
- Provisional Certificate (10+2/Intermediate)
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
- Three self-addressed stamped envelopes
Note: Originals must be submitted at the time of admission.
Rules & Regulations
- Minimum 90% attendance is mandatory.
- Students must be punctual and disciplined.
- Assignments must be submitted on time.
- Leave without prior permission is not allowed.
- Annual Leave – 30 days
- Sick Leave – 10 days/year
- Latecomers need permission from the principal to attend class.
- Hostel stay is compulsory. No student is allowed to stay outside.
- Visiting day: Only Sundays. Only registered parents/guardians allowed. No jija, uncle, or cousin brothers.
- Prescribed uniform is compulsory during duty or within the college premises.
- Jewelry, electronic items, and mobile phones are strictly prohibited. Violation will result in suspension/rustication.
- No visitors allowed during class or duty hours.
- For illness-related leave, prior approval from Principal/Director is required.
- College is not responsible for any attempt of suicide or unnatural act.
- Students who discontinue mid-course must pay the full course fee.
- Use of bad language, dishonesty, or inappropriate behavior (cinema, objectionable material) can lead to expulsion.
- Punishment will be documented with written reasons after a personal hearing.
- Ragging is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be suspended or rusticated immediately.
